Overview
Are you an experienced IFA Administrator looking for a senior, hands-on role where you can take ownership, work with clients, and support a small team?
An established Independent Financial Advisory firm is seeking a Senior Financial Administrator to lead core administration, manage investment platforms, and support structured client reviews in a professional, structured environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll play a key part in keeping the advisory function running smoothly, efficiently, and compliantly.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Lead and coordinate the day-to-day financial administration function
• Manage new business processing (approx. 2–3 cases per month)
• Oversee and maintain investment platforms and CRM systems
• Support structured client review processes (approx. 6–10 reviews per month)
• Prepare client review documentation, reports, and forecasting spreadsheets
• Build and maintain client cashflow and planning spreadsheets
• Liaise directly with clients and providers where appropriate
• Ensure accurate record keeping and adherence to FCA requirements
• Maintain compliance across pensions and investment regulatory frameworks
• Provide support to the existing admin team
• Clearly operate within defined administrative (non-advisory) boundaries
What We’re Looking For
You’ll already have solid experience within an IFA or wealth management environment and feel confident taking ownership of your workload.
We’re ideally looking for someone with:
• 5+ years’ experience within an IFA / wealth management setting
• Strong investment and platform administration experience
• Experience using CRM systems and investment platforms
• A good understanding of FCA regulatory obligations
• Experience supporting fund research and structured client review processes
• Advanced Excel skills and confidence-building forecasting models
• Strong working knowledge of pensions and investment products
• Ability to work independently within a clearly defined framework
What’s On Offer
• Working Hours: 8:00 am – 5:15 pm, Monday to Thursday. This is a full-time, office-based role with no hybrid working
