Airport Passenger Support Assistant - Immediate Opportunities

Location: London Gatwick Airport

The Best Connection - Aviation is currently recruiting Airport Passenger Support Assistant to support our client at London Gatwick Airport. This is an excellent opportunity for customer-focused individuals who enjoy helping people and want to work in a fast-paced airport environment within Airport Passenger Support Assistant within logistics distribution and supply chain industry.

In this role, you will assist passengers who require additional support, helping to ensure their journey through the airport is safe, comfortable, and stress-free during the busy seasonal period.

Pay & Hours

• £13.45 per hour. £14.71 per hour after 12 weeks.
• Weekly pay every Friday
• Part-time: 6-hour shifts
• Full-time: 8-12 hour shifts
• Shift patterns: 4 on / 4 off or 5 on / 3 off
• Flexibility required across all shift times and patterns.

This is a temporary seasonal position, with the potential to move into a permanent role.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide a high standard of passenger care and assistance
• Support passengers with reduced mobility throughout the airport
• Safely operate wheelchairs and electric buggies
• Assist passengers with baggage when required
• Conduct daily equipment checks and report any faults
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of mobility equipment
• Communicate with the airport control team using handheld devices
• Complete accurate documentation and operational reports
• Assist the wider airport operations team when required

What We're Looking For

• Friendly, reliable, and customer-focused individuals
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently in a busy airport environment
• Calm under pressure with good time-management skills
• Full UK driving licence required
• Previous airport, passenger service, or customer service experience is beneficial but not essential
• Additional languages are an advantage
