Flight Co-ordinator - Immediate Start Available
Location: Crawley (Manor Royal) - Supporting operations at London Gatwick Airport
Pay: £15.75 per hour
Shifts: 5 days on / 3 days off | Approx. 40 hours per week
Aviation Connection is currently recruiting reliable and motivated Flight Co-ordinator to join our client within logistics distribution and supply chain industry, a global leader in in-flight catering services. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced airport environment supporting some of the world's leading airlines.

Pay & Schedule
- £15.75 per hour
- 5 days on / 3 days off shift pattern
- Average 40 hours per week
- Shifts approximately 9.5 hours (including a 30-minute break)
- Start times between 03:00 and 21:30 (flexibility required)
- Operations run 7 days a week, including evenings and public holidays
- Overtime may be required depending on flight schedules - Paid at Flat Rate.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble in-flight meals, beverages, and equipment according to airline specifications
- Pack catering carts and trolleys to airline standards and ensure correct temperature control
- Seal carts for dispatch in accordance with Civil Aviation Authority requirements
- Load catering supplies onto delivery vehicles and aircraft safely and efficiently
- Support the movement and guidance of catering vehicles airside while following strict safety procedures
- Coordinate with colleagues to meet operational deadlines and flight schedules
- Report any shortages, delays, or damaged items promptly to management
- Maintain high service standards while representing the Newrest brand
Requirements of a Flight Co-ordinator
- Full UK manual driving licence with fewer than 6 penalty points
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, operational environment
- Physically fit and able to lift or push up to 25kg
- Comfortable working outdoors, at height, and in chilled environments (~10°C)
- Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills
Previous experience in airline catering, logistics, warehouse, or customer service is beneficial but not essential as full training will be provided.
