Community Children’s Services Administration Team

We are seeking adynamic, enthusiastic, and motivated individualto join our Community Children’s Services administration team. The ideal candidate will have a willingness to learn new skills, a passion for supporting others, and the ability to deliver professional, efficient, and accurate administrative support within a busy and varied clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

Professional Administrative Support
• Carry out general clerical duties to ensure the day‑to‑day functions of the service run smoothly.
• Provide timely and effective support to medical and non-medical teams.
• Deliver excellent customer care, including communicating sensitively with distressed or anxious patients and families, using tact, empathy, and professionalism.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and information security at all times.
• Represent and uphold the professional image and values of the Trust.

Service Efficiency & Team Collaboration
• Support the delivery of administrative services across all functions within the building, contributing to the overall clinical effectiveness of the Trust.
• Work flexibly across a wide range of administrative tasks, adjusting to service needs and priorities.
• Act as a first point of contact for service users through telephone, email, written correspondence, and face‑to‑face interactions, including reception duties, patient admissions, and helpline support.
• Assist clinicians with organising, planning, and coordinating their clinical workload.

Systems, Data & Records
• Competently use a range of computer systems to maintain accurate departmental and patient records.
• Handle service data and statistics required by clinical teams, supporting reporting, monitoring, and service planning.
