Crynodeb
Committed Support is currently recruiting experienced BSL Support Workers to provide agency cover within an Independent Supported Living (ISL) service supporting young adults aged 21–22 in the Newcastle and surroundings area.
This role involves providing flexible agency support, including last-minute and planned shift cover, supporting Deaf young adults to develop independence and life skills within their supported living environment.
Role Responsibilities:
Supporting with daily living tasks
Promoting independence and confidence
Supporting community access and appointments
Encouraging social and community engagement
Following individual care and support plans
Essential Requirements:
BSL qualification is a MUST (minimum Level 2 or above preferred)
Experience within supported living or supporting young adults
Enhanced DBS registered on the DBS Update Service
Right to work in the UK
Reliable, flexible and professional approach
