The role:
We are currently seeking a Relief Catering Assistant, for an exciting opportunity to join our group of London cafes. The cafes use the funds it generates, to provide training and create jobs and apprenticeships for people with a learning disability, to build skills and careers in catering.
The Catering Assistant will support and train people with a learning disability, whilst working in this unique cafe environment. You will work as part of a dynamic team, to provide a professional service, delivering high quality food and drink to our customers.
The ideal candidate will:
Ideally have previous cafe experience
Have excellent customer service skills
Have excellent barista skills
Enjoy working as part of a team
Confident with cash handling
Highly person centred, with a positive attitude towards people with learning disabilities
Enthusiastic about training people with a learning disability
Be flexible in being able to work throughout the various cafes, when needed
