18.5 hours per week, Permanent (pro rota salary £13,201 - £14,299 per annum)

Due to retirement a rare opportunity is available to join our Community Safety Team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organisational and communication skills who is passionate about supporting safer communities and providing high quality customer focused services.
We are looking for someone who is confident working with customers, partners and colleagues, can handle sensitive situations with empathy, and who enjoys providing a high standard of administrative and case management support in a busy and varied environment. You will also play a key role in supporting the Council’s safeguarding responsibilities and helping ensure that our partnership arrangements run smoothly.
This role will suit someone who is organised, adaptable and able to work both independently and as part of a wider team.
Key responsibilities will include:
• Being the first point of contact for new anti-social behaviour (ASB) enquiries, carrying out initial risk assessments and determining appropriate responses in line with policy and legislation.
• Managing the partnership case management system, ensuring data is accurately recorded, documents uploaded and cases closed appropriately
• Coordinating multi agency partnership meetings, including arranging meetings, preparing agendas, taking minutes and logging actions
• Acting as the Deputy Designated Safeguarding Officer, supporting safeguarding referrals, training and policy development.
• Supporting the team with general administrative duties, working unsupervised and using initiative to prioritise work as service needs change
• Helping ensure all customers, including vulnerable individuals, receive a sensitive and high quality service.
