Crynodeb
Elite Personnel are working on behalf of an established professional services firm to recruit an experienced Client Accounts Manager. This is a senior role offering the opportunity to take responsibility for the delivery and quality of accounts and tax work across a diverse client portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee the preparation and review of statutory accounts and tax compliance work across the client portfolio.
• Provide guidance on technical queries and act as the senior point of contact for complex matters.
• Ensure all deliverables meet internal quality standards prior to final sign-off.
• Maintain clear documentation and review notes to support compliance and quality assurance.
• Provide day-to-day leadership, mentoring, and guidance to the accounts and tax team.
• Allocate work effectively to balance workloads and meet key deadlines.
• Support ongoing development of team members through constructive feedback and coaching.
• Promote a professional, organised, and accountable team culture.
• Liaise with clients to obtain required financial information and respond to general queries.
• Monitor progress of assignments and ensure deadlines are achieved.
• Assist with improving internal processes, templates, and operational efficiencies.
What We’re Looking For
• ACA or ACCA qualification
• A minimum of 7 years’ post-qualification experience within an accountancy practice
• Strong technical knowledge across accounts and tax compliance
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• A proactive and detail-focused approach
• Confidence working in a fast-paced environment with significant responsibility
