Job Title: MIG Fabricator / Welder

Salary: £14.90 – £16.00 per hour (pay increase after probation)
Job Type: Permanent | Full Time

Workforce are currently recruiting for an experienced MIG Fabricator/Welder to join a well-established manufacturing company based in the CV7 area. This is a great opportunity for a skilled fabricator looking for a stable, long-term role with overtime opportunities and pay progression.

The role will involve 90% MIG welding and 10% TIG welding, working with a variety of materials including mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium.

Key Responsibilities

• MIG welding (majority of the role) with occasional TIG welding

  
  

• Fabricating components from engineering drawings

  
  

• Working with mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium (1mm–3mm)

  
  

• Operating fabrication machinery including press brakes and guillotines

  
  

• General fabrication and workshop duties

  
  

• Supporting other manufacturing tasks including CNC machinery when required

  
  

• Opening and closing the factory when required

  
  Requirements

  • Proven MIG welding and fabrication experience

    
    

  • TIG welding experience advantageous

    
    

  • Experience operating press brakes and guillotines

    
    

  • Ability to read engineering drawings

    
    

  • FLT licence essential

    
    

  • Willingness to train as a First Aider and Fire Warden

    
    

  • Reliable, flexible and able to work as part of a team

    
    Package

    • £14.90 – £16.00 per hour (review after probation)

      
      

    • 3 month probation period

      
      

    • 1 week notice during probation – 4 weeks after

      
      

    • Pension: 4% contributory after probation

      
      

    • Holiday: 25 days + 8 bank holidays (Jan–Dec)

      
      

    • Overtime rates:

      • 1.33x weekdays

        
        

      • 1.5x Saturdays

        
        

      • 2x Sundays (rare)
