Location: Brixham, Devon
Pay: £110 - £130 per day (DOE)
Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday
Contract: Full-time, Term-time only
About the RoleAre you a confident, adaptable individual looking to make a difference in the classroom? We are seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor to join a vibrant secondary school community in the Brixham area.
This role is perfect for graduates considering a career in teaching, ex-military personnel, or experienced coaches and youth workers who thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for overseeing lessons, ensuring students stay on task and maintain a productive learning atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities-
Classroom Management: Deliver pre-set learning activities and manage student behaviour in line with school policies.

Student Support: Assist students with their work and answer general queries to keep them engaged.

Reporting: Provide feedback to the department regarding student progress and any classroom incidents.

Safety: Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all pupils during the school day.

Confidence: The ability to lead a room of students with authority and empathy.

Flexibility: Comfortable moving between subjects throughout the day.

Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with both staff and students.

Reliability: Punctual and committed to a consistent 5-day-a-week schedule.

Note: An enhanced DBS check is required for this role (we can assist with this).
