Weighing Service Engineer - STC Solutions Ltd is looking to recruit a Weighing Service Engineer to join their team on a full-time, permanent role. The work will be mainly based in East Anglia, and you will ideally live within a 30-mile radius of our modern purpose-built office and workshop near Ipswich, Suffolk.

About the role:

As a Weighing Service Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, and calibrating scales and weighbridges at a variety of customer sites throughout East Anglia. Working both independently and alongside a small team, you will ensure equipment is installed and maintained to a high standard. You will also support the management team with planning jobs, ordering parts, and ensuring service visits are completed efficiently. This role is Monday - Friday and is primarily field-based.

Main Duties and responsibilities:

- Install, service, and calibrate scales and weighbridges at customer sites

- Assist with planning jobs and ordering required parts

- Maintain strong customer relationships through excellent service

- Diagnose faults and resolve technical issues efficiently

- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company standards

- Maintain accurate records of work carried out

About you:

As a Weighing Service Engineer, you will have previous experience installing and maintaining weighing equipment, along with a working knowledge of IT systems. You will have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritise work effectively while managing your time independently. You will demonstrate excellent customer service skills and the ability to build positive relationships with clients. A full UK driving licence is essential, along with the ability to climb ladders and lift equipment when required. Applicants must also be willing to undergo a DBS check.

Please note:applicants must be physically fit enough to lift 20kg weights.
