What Can You Expect?
We’re looking for a forward‑thinking Talent Business Partner to help us attract, develop, and grow the people who make HTG‑UK what it is. You’ll lead recruitment, build strong talent pipelines, drive proactive workforce planning, and shape effective hiring strategies. You’ll also deliver impactful learning and development initiatives that support colleague growth and help position HTG‑UK as an employer of choice.
This is a full‑time, permanent position (37.5 hours, Monday to Friday), based from home with travel to our sites when needed, and reporting directly to the HR Director.
Main responsibilities:
Lead end‑to‑end recruitment activity across the business and support the development of the recruitment team.
Drive proactive workforce planning and build strong, sustainable talent pipelines.
Shape effective recruitment processes that balance speed, quality, and compliance.
Use data and labour‑market insights to influence senior leaders and improve hiring outcomes.
Lead recruitment strategies for high‑volume and mobilisation hiring.
Develop attraction approaches suited to our sector and locations, enhancing HTG‑UK’s employer brand.
Ensure recruitment activity meets CQC, safeguarding, and safer‑recruitment standards.
Oversee DBS, right‑to‑work, and referencing processes to maintain compliance.
Collaborate with stakeholders to design and deliver effective learning and development solutions.
Lead key development programmes, including induction and management development.
Deliver engaging learning sessions both in person and virtually.
Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional growth across the organisation.
Evaluate and improve training programmes based on data and feedback.

What We’re Looking For:
Essential:
CIPD qualification or equivalent.
Experience in Talent, Recruitment, or Employee Development.
Strong track record of improving attraction, conversion, and retention.
Experience developing internal talent pipelines.
Confidence influencing senior leaders.
Proven experience in high‑volume recruitment.
Full understanding of the training cycle: needs analysis, design, delivery & evaluation.
Experience designing blended and digital learning solutions.
Strong facilitation and presentation skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Experience mentoring individuals or teams.
A genuine passion for developing people and supporting organisational growth.
Desirable:
Knowledge of CQC requirements, safer recruitment, and safeguarding.
Experience managing apprenticeship programmes and supporting learner progression.
