Ideal Candidate Essential NVQ Level 3 in Health or Social Care, or a recognised Nursery Nurse qualification. Understanding of the impact of providing care for children with complex medical needs in their homes. Experience working with children with additional or complex needs. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to build rapport and connect with children and families. Desirable Willingness and ability to develop new theoretical and practical skills. British Sign Language Level 1 or Makaton. Experience supporting technology dependent children or carrying out relevant clinical procedures. Minimum 1 years experience supporting children with complex health needs. Minimum 1 years experience working with children in another setting (e.g., nursery, respite care, community service).
