Salaried GP Danescourt & Greenmount Surgery, Cardiff4 sessions per week (Thursdays & Fridays)Closing date: 27 March 2026 About Us Danescourt & Greenmount Surgery is a friendly, supportive practice serving patients across two sites in Cardiff. Our team of clinicians and support staff work closely to provide high-quality, patient-centred care. We also support medical students, offering opportunities for observation and learning. We are looking for a Salaried GP to join our team for 4 sessions per week (Thursdays & Fridays). This role offers a balanced working week with opportunities to focus on clinical care while participating in teaching activities if desired. Role Summary As a Salaried GP, you will: Provide comprehensive care to our diverse patient population Conduct face-to-face and telephone consultations, home visits, and manage clinical correspondence Prescribe safely in accordance with our practice formulary Maintain accurate and contemporaneous patient records Support and mentor medical students as part of their clinical experience You will work collaboratively with the wider team and make professional, autonomous decisions in patient care. Person Specification Essential: Fully GMC registered with licence to practise Inclusion on the Cardiff & Vale UHB GP Performers List Membership of medical indemnity cover organisation Inclusion on GP Register Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team Commitment to high-quality patient care and professional development A Full UK Driving Licence Desirable: MRCGP qualification or equivalent Experience with EMIS Web or other primary care IT systems Interest in clinical audit, service improvement or long-term condition management Terms Hours: 4 sessions/week Thursdays & Fridays Contract: 12 month with option for permanent position thereafter Salary: Negotiable Employer: Danescourt & Greenmount Surgery (not Cardiff & Vale UHB) Note: We cannot sponsor visas; applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK Why Join Us?
