What You’ll Be Doing
In this varied and rewarding role, you will:
• Act as a trusted first point of contact for HR queries, providing advice and guidance to managers.
• Support and influence the management of sickness absence, including data reporting and attendance at relevant meetings.
• Support resolution of informal and formal employee relations cases – conduct, performance, concerns resolution.
• Promote colleague wellbeing and help foster a positive staff experience, contribute to creating a supportive workplace culture.
• Champion best practice in HR by coaching and developing line managers.
• Gather and analyse workforce metrics to support informed decision‑making.
• Promote and support the delivery of national staff surveys and action planning.
• Assist with job evaluations and job description advice.
• Support policy development and national HR initiatives.
• Contribute to project work and ensure you stay up to date with employment legislation.
