Do you enjoy making a meaningful difference in people’s lives and supporting individuals to build confidence and independence?
As a Mental Health Support Worker in one of our Intermediate Hostels, you’ll provide practical, emotional, social and housing related support to people with complex mental health needs. Working in a person-centred way, you’ll help clients build confidence, develop independent living skills, and manage their mental and physical health more independently.
You’ll also offer one-to-one support, take on key working responsibilities and contribute to the smooth running of the Service.
Who we’re looking for:
• Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding responsibilities, including identifying, responding to, and escalating concerns.
• Experience of working with people with complex mental health needs
• Ability to communicate effectively in a variety of ways with different stakeholders
• Someone who can work flexibly on a 24/7 rota, including sleep-ins, weekends, and bank holidays.
