About the role

We are seeking to fill an upcoming vacancy for the role of Campaign and Communications Advisor.

Reporting directly to the Media and Communications Manager, you will be responsible for contributing to our service’s internal and external communications, including taking ownership of digital marketing channels and working alongside the wider team to create engaging and high performing campaigns. You will have the chance to shape how we engage with our community, bring fresh ideas and collaborate with various stakeholders of differing levels.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a strong commitment to the TWFRS Values of Safety, Integrity, Inclusivity and Learning, and champion these in their day to day work. They will also demonstrate and the highest standards of ethical behaviours and champion these in their day-to-day work in compliance with our ethical code of conduct.

As a Campaigns and Communications Advisor you will:

 Be a creative storyteller, confident in leading the delivery of timely, innovative campaigns across all channels.
 Support the wider team with content creation.
 Work closely with senior stakeholders to support day-to-day communication activities across the Service.
 Respond to media enquiries in line with established procedures, building strong relationships with journalists and media partners.
 Demonstrate successful management of social media channels.
 Manage end-to-end campaign delivery.
 Prioritise workload effectively and plan appropriate work schedules.
 Build strong, trusted relationships across the organisation.

We are seeking a candidate with demonstrable experience in:

 Working with public relations, media or communications within a fast-paced environment.
 Working as part of a communications team, producing engaging and up-to-date content.
 Liaising with the media, press and wider media partners, with examples of successful outcomes.
 Managing a diverse and creative workload.
 Developing and implementing internal and external communications.
 Providing advice and guidance to colleagues and supporting the Media and Communications Manager as required.
 Delivering multi-format or cross-channel media content.
 Managing content using ICT, digital tools and web platforms.
