Are you an experienced Mobile Trailer Technician seeking a new opportunity within the transportation and logistics sector? Our client, a leading provider in the industry, is currently recruiting for a Mobile Trailer Technician in the Willenhall area. Main duties:
- Performing detailed inspections, servicing, and repairs on trailers, adhering to safety and quality standards
- Ensuring accurate completion of all compliance documentation
- Diagnosing and resolving issues utilising systems such as HALDEX, WABCO, and KNORR BREMSE
- Participating in ongoing industry and product training, including IRTEC, tail lift, BPW, and SAF axle/brake training
- Delivering exceptional customer service under tight deadlines
- Following all health and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment
- Upholding company values and demonstrating professional behaviours
- Performing additional duties as required or directed by management
Requirements:
- Proven experience with semi-trailers or heavy vehicles
- Industry-standard qualifications such as City & Guilds or NVQs
- Hold a valid HGV Class 1 driving licence
- IRTEC accreditation
- Experience with EBS diagnostics, including Knorr Bremse, Haldex, and WABCO systems
- Welding certification is desirable
- Training or experience with axle manufacturers like BPW, SAF, or JOST
- Tail lift training and hands-on experience
- Maintenance experience with double-deck or lifting decks
