We are looking for carers to join a small team supporting a woman in her 40s who uses a wheelchair
The aim is to enable our client to remain independent in her own home.
About the job
- We need people who can work evenings and weekends.
- You may also need to work during school holidays.
- You do not need previous care experience.
- You must have a full UK driving licence.
- It is helpful if you have driven a wheelchair-accessible vehicle, but training will be given.
- Women only (because the job includes personal care).
- You must be kind, caring, and willing to learn and adapt to the person’s needs.
This role helps someone live safely and comfortably at home.
Your tasks may include:
- Cleaning
- Cooking or baking
- Helping her go out into the community
- Personal care
- Giving medication
- Checking health conditions
- Going with her to appointments
- Helping with other tasks at home or in the community
Checks
- You must give references.
- You must have a DBS check.
- When you start work, you must have permission to work in the UK.
