Connect Appointments are recruiting an experienced Warehouse Charge Hand to join our client's busy facility in Carlisle.
What's on offer?
- Full-time permanent position - 41 hours per week
- Working Tuesday to Saturday, 1pm to 10pm
- An annual salary of £28,078.44 per annum
In this hands-on role, you'll lead a small warehouse team, ensuring smooth operations and helping get technology products ready for delivery. Your day-to-day duties include:
- Lead and engage your warehouse team to deliver high standards
- Manage warehouse processes including shunting, loading/unloading, and operating MHE
- Support safe transport and handling of technology products
- Help maintain organisation and efficiency across the site
This is a great opportunity for someone with warehouse experience who enjoys coaching and motivating others. What we're looking for:
- Previous experience overseeing or supporting warehouse teams
- Experience of coaching or mentoring colleagues
- Strong communication and time management skills
- FLT licence and experience is advantageous
- Driving licence preferred
- Recycling experience desired
