Closing Date: Sunday 22 March 2026
If you’re passionate about customer service, enjoy helping others and want to make a real difference to people’s lives, you belong at Bromford.
This bank role is ideal if you have flexibility in your week and can cover shifts (sometimes at short notice) for annual leave, sickness and general demand. There are lots of shifts available, including evenings, nights and weekends.
At Griffin Place, we work alongside Buckinghamshire Council to deliver a 24/7 housing service that supports homeless individuals and families to achieve a better quality of life. It’s a fast‑paced, ever‑changing environment where no two days are the same — and your actions can have a real impact.
What you’ll do
You’ll provide ad‑hoc, housing‑related support to vulnerable customers living in our schemes. Working closely with our Customer Coaches, you will:
- Deliver detailed and accurate handovers after your shifts
- Help maintain the security and safety of our buildings
- Build positive relationships with customers
- Use your initiative to make informed decisions and respond to situations as they arise
- Keep customer information clear, accurate and up to date
- Handle and escalate safeguarding concerns appropriately
What we’re looking for
Someone who:
- Has experience in social housing and/or support-related services
- Brings strong customer service experience
- Is well organised and confident using their own initiative to make decisions
- Can meet the needs of customers and the wider community while working within Bromford Flagship policies and procedures
- Communicates clearly with customers, colleagues and partner agencies
- Is resilient, adaptable and comfortable in a role where things change quickly
- Is reliable and able to commit to shift work, including evenings, weekends and night shifts
Why join us?
By joining Bromford (part of Bromford Flagship), you’ll be part of a leading housing provider delivering community-focused services across the Midlands and South West. We take a local approach backed by the scale and ambition of the wider group — all to help create communities where people feel secure, supported and able to thrive.
If you’ve worked as a support worker, young person’s support worker, residential support worker, specialist support worker, care worker, family or adult support worker — or something similar — we’d love to hear from you.
Closing date: Sunday 22 March 2026.
