The Best Connection Mansfield are currently recruiting MIG Welders to join a well-established steel fabrication company based in Alfreton This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a dynamic and innovative business known for its high-quality products and commitment to continuous improvement.
Interviews:
If you're interested in this role, you'll first attend an interview at our Mansfield branch, followed by a potential on-site interview with the client.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- MIG weld thin steel tubing using jigs (no drawings required).
- Assemble products to a high and consistent standard.
- Carry out quality checks and ensure zero defects throughout the process.
- Maintain welding equipment and follow all safety procedures, including correct PPE usage.
- Support a lean, safe workplace and look for process improvements.
- Assist with picking and packing spares orders when required.
- Familiarity with Lean principles.
Working Hours & Pay Rate:
- Monday to Friday, 07:30am to 16:30pm
- Pay rate details provided at interview
- Previous MIG welding experience is an advantage however if you do have a Level 2 qualification in welding the company are open to see candidates for an interview.
