Summary
About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable, experienced, and emotionally intelligent Support worker/ Carer to provide one-to-one support to a woman living with the long-term effects of restricted mobility, mental health and neurodivergence.
She has recently suffered a bereavement and needs longterm assistance with daily tasks and motivation. However, she continues to live with significant physical and cognitive challenges and requires consistent, skilled support with daily living and parenting.
This is a highly rewarding role for someone who is patient, proactive, and genuinely enjoys supporting people to live full and meaningful lives.
About the Client:
The client has limited mobility. She can walk short distances without assistance but uses a wheelchair for longer uses. She also has complex cognitive needs, including reduced short-term memory, and therefore requires structured support with all activities of daily living to reduce.
Despite these challenges, she enjoys a engaging lifestyle, and her support worker plays a key role in helping her maintain this.
She responds well to warm, upbeat, and positive people.
The Ideal Support Worker. We are looking for someone who is:
* Strong, energetic and positive in personality
* Emotionally intelligent and calm under pressure
* Adaptable and able to manage unpredictable situations professionally
* Experienced in complex care, particularly neurological or cognitive conditions
* Comfortable working in a home with young children
This role requires someone who can balance professionalism with warmth. Applicants must have good/high standard of English.
As a Support Worker you will:
* Provide one-to-one support within the clients home
* Assist with all activities of daily living, including mobility support
* Maintain a safe, positive, and structured environment
* Monitor wellbeing and report any changes appropriately
* Follow instructions to the letter.

Experience and Eligibility
Applicants should ideally have:
* Carer experience, specifically working with people with reduced mobility and cognitive impairments.
* Following detailed instructions
* Experience providing one-to-one care in a clients home
* Strong commitment to person-centred care
This role is part of a specialist complex care support package, focused on enabling the client to live as independently and actively as possible within the community.
The support team works closely together to provide consistent, high-quality care in a respectful and positive environment.

**Pay:** £ Self employed hourly Rate is £ 20 ph. PAYE £16.60 per hour (dependent on experience)
