Talent Pool
UCLH utilises a Talent Pool to manage Band 3 recruitment. This coordinated approach centralises recruitment into Band 3 Healthcare positions across the Trust. It enables us to match successful candidates to suitable vacancies as they arise, across wards and departments.
Why Join the UCLH Talent Pool?

3. Career Growth: Benefit from UCLH’s commitment to professional development and opportunities to gain valuable experience.
4. Supportive Environment: Access a range of support and welfare services, celebrate excellence through quarterly and annual awards, and have your say in our staff annual surveys.
How It Works
1. Application: Submit your application to join the Talent Pool.
2. Interview: Attend a face-to-face recruitment selection event with our nursing recruitment team.
3. Matching: If your interview is successful, we will begin matching you with current vacancies based on our needs and your suitability.
4. Placement: You may be placed within six months, depending on our vacancies and alignment with organisational needs, with the option to extend this period by an additional six months if necessary.
While in the Talent Pool, candidates may continue in their current employment or seek other opportunities elsewhere. Once a candidate accepts a position, a conditional offer will be issued, and pre-employment checks will begin.
