Accounts Payable Assistant
Glasgow
£27,800 + bonus

I'm currently looking for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join our client's Head Office team in Glasgow. This is a key role within the finance function, ensuring that all invoicing and related reporting across the Group is processed accurately and delivered within strict deadlines.

Key responsibilities
* Ensure invoices are processed accurately and in a timely manner, updating ledgers accordingly
* Maintain supplier records and reconcile supplier statements
* Build strong working relationships with suppliers while working to tight deadlines
* Liaise with depots to ensure queries are resolved promptly
* Work collaboratively as part of a busy finance team
* Support with ad hoc duties as required

What we're looking for
* Previous experience in a high-volume finance role
* Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport quickly
* Confident user of MS Office, particularly Excel and Word
* Excellent communication, organisational and prioritisation skills
