Salary: Grade 4, £21,908 - £22,970 per annum. £13.26 - £13.90 per hour
37 hours per week, term time plus 1 week working 39 weeks per year

Leigh St. John’s CE Primary School is a voluntary aided school, and governors are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, flexible and highly motivated Finance and Admin Officer to work with us as we continue our journey supporting children in ‘learning today for a brighter tomorrow’.

In this key frontline role, you will:
- Provide excellent reception service, ensuring every visitor receives a warm, professional welcome.
- Undertake high-quality administrative duties including financial management correspondence, record keeping and office systems.
- Undertake accounting processes, including processing purchases/orders and invoices as well as reconciling accounts, bank statements and financial records to ensure accuracy, compliance and timely reporting.
- Confidently respond to communications and support the smooth running of day-to-day school operations.
- Handle enquiries from parents, staff and pupils with clarity, professionalism and excellent customer service.
- Support with challenging or sensitive conversations in a calm, diplomatic and solutions focused manner.
- Maintain accurate data and use systems such as Arbor and other school platforms.
- Assist with school events, meetings and diary management.
- Support pupil welfare and safeguarding procedures.
- Work closely with the Business Manager to ensure efficient, well organised office operations.
- Proactively monitor the admin inbox and respond to a wide range of queries, ensuring timely communication and liaising with other departments where required.
