Salary: Grade 4, £25,583 - £ 26,824 per annum. £13.26 - £13.90 per hour

37 hours per week

Temporary until March 2029

Your role:

The Project Support Assistant will provide support to the role of the Homelessness Solutions Team in providing advice and assistance to customers and stakeholders surrounding homeless prevention.

You will act as first point of contact for individuals who are threatened with or experiencing homelessness. You will provide support and assistance to ensure people quickly receive the best quality advice and information regarding their housing and support options. You will also provide support to the Homelessness Solutions Officers, assisting in delivering the functions required under homeless legislation and focusing on helping to provide sustainable housing solutions to those in greatest need.

About you:

You will act as first point of contact for individuals who are threatened with or experiencing homelessness. You will provide support and assistance to ensure people quickly receive the best quality advice and information regarding their housing and support options. You will also provide support to the Homelessness Solutions Officers, assisting in delivering the functions required under homeless legislation and focusing on helping to provide sustainable housing solutions to those in greatest need

To be successful within this role you must be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skill, with the ability to quickly establish relationships with customers and partner agencies.

You must have experience of working as the first point of contact for customers, using Microsoft office packages. You will need excellent organisation skills and have the ability to work under pressure.

You will ensure you adhere to data protection information sharing arrangements and local safeguarding policies at all times.
