Export Shipping Coordinator - Loughborough
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Export Shipping Coordinator to join our Export Customer Service Team at our Loughborough site. This is an initial 3-month contract opportunity with a competitive pay rate of £14.92 per hour.
In this role, you will be part of a team providing essential scientific products and services to customers across Eastern Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EEMEA)
Key Responsibilities-
Shipping Administration: Prepare documentation for worldwide shipments and manage general shipping administration.
- Compliance: Rigorously adhere to customs and export compliance regulations, including handling TPM and due diligence requirements.
- Customer Support: Resolve customer inquiries (written and verbal) regarding shipping matters while meeting strict deadlines.
- Technical Handling: Manage hazardous paperwork and complex shipping issues, ensuring all actions exceed departmental metrics.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Export Sales team to provide exceptional administrative support.
- Experience: A proven history of export shipping skills within an export environment is essential.
- Certifications: A solid understanding of IATA/IMDG regulations with the appropriate qualifications.Technical Proficiency: Intermediate level experience in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with a "team player" attitude.
- Education: Minimum of 2 A-levels or equivalent (Science or English subjects are desirable but not required).
- Industry Knowledge: Previous experience in a scientific or laboratory industry is beneficial.

Location: Loughborough - Bishop Meadow Road (On-site).
- Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday
- Shift Pattern: Flexible start/finish times (e.g., 08:00-16:00 or 09:00-17:00).
- Start Date: ASAP.
- Interview Process: Stage 1 involves a 30-60 minute on-site interview
