Link3 Recruitment are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Qualified Maths Teacher (QTS) to join our supply team, supporting a range of secondary schools across Coventry. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator who enjoys working in varied school environments while making a positive impact on students’ learning.

The successful candidate will have a strong subject specialism in Mathematics and the confidence to deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 to 5. You will be able to step into classrooms seamlessly, maintain high standards of learning, and foster a positive and productive environment for students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality Maths lessons across KS3, KS4 and KS5.

  
  

• Lead classes confidently and ensure continuity of learning in the absence of the regular teacher.

  
  

• Implement effective behaviour management strategies to maintain a focused and respectful classroom environment.

  
  

• Adapt teaching approaches to suit a range of abilities and learning needs.

  
  

• Work collaboratively with school staff to support student progress.

  
  

  Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.

    
    

  • Previous experience teaching Mathematics within secondary schools.

    
    

  • Proven ability to manage behaviour effectively and maintain classroom engagement.

    
    

  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to teach KS3 – KS5 Maths.

    
    

  • A flexible, professional, and proactive approach to teaching.

    Essential Requirements

    All applicants must have:

    • A valid Right to Work in the UK (verified as part of our safeguarding checks)
    • An Enhanced DBS Check (Child Workforce) or registration on the Update Service
    • Minimum GCSE qualifications (or equivalent) for roles below Cover Supervisor level, with evidence provided
