The Role – Graduate Academic Mentor
As a Graduate Academic Mentor, you will work closely with teaching staff to provide academic support across different subject areas and year groups.
Key responsibilities include:
• Assisting students during lessons to help clarify concepts and improve understanding.
• Providing additional academic support through small-group sessions and one-to-one mentoring.
• Supporting pupils with revision strategies, coursework organisation and exam preparation.
• Encouraging positive learning behaviours and helping students develop confidence in their abilities.
• Assisting teachers with lesson preparation and classroom activities.
• Tracking student engagement and progress, sharing insights with teaching staff when appropriate.
