HGV1 (Class 1 / CE) Driver
Location: Paisley
Pay Rate: £16.11 per hour
Hours: 45 hours per week
Start Time: 08:00 (scheduled to leave depot around 08:45)


Manpower is currently recruiting for a HGV1 (Class 1 / CE) Driver for an ongoing opportunity based in Paisley. This is a great opportunity for a reliable and professional driver looking for consistent work with a well-established logistics operation.


The Role:


You will be responsible for completing a mix of deliveries and collections across a wide area. Routes typically cover Glasgow, Paisley, East Kilbride, and Ayrshire, with around 7-8 drops per day.
This role requires a professional approach, good time management, and a strong commitment to safety and customer service.


Duties include:

  • Completing approximately 7-8 deliveries and collections per shift
  • Covering delivery routes across Glasgow, Paisley, East Kilbride and Ayrshire
  • Ensuring the security of the vehicle and freight at all times
  • Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks
  • Driving safely and in line with UK road regulations and tachograph rules
  • Complying with site and road Health & Safety standards


What We're Looking For

  • Full, valid HGV1 (Class 1 / CE) licence
  • Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
  • Previous HGV1 driving experience preferred
  • Good knowledge of Central Scotland road networks
  • Strong reliability, professionalism, and time management
  • Candidates must be able to pass a Basic Disclosure Scotland check
