We are currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants to join on a long-term temporary basis until the end of the academic year, with potential for further opportunities.
In this role, you will:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with additional learning needs
- Help remove barriers to learning and promote confidence and independence
- Support students’ academic progress and personal development
- Work closely with teaching staff to implement learning plans and schemes of learning
- Play a key role in helping learners achieve their goals and succeed in college

The successful Learning Support Assistant will have:
- Level 2 minimum in English and Maths
- Recent and demonstrable experience of supporting people with additional learning needs.
- Experience working with ASD, ADHD, MLD, SEMH, BSL
- A calm, patient, and caring personality
- Ability to operate with empathy and the ability to motivate others
- Ability to work as a member of a team
- Computer literate
- Able to work independently using own initiative
- Able to note take for students
- A clear understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures.
