About the Role
You will join a team of 6 Specialist Teachers and 2 Specialist TAs who assess and support children and young people in early years', mainstream, special, and post 16 settings. The team is highly valued by settings and families.
One part-time 0.5 FTE (Term time only: 16.25 hours per week) post is available. The position is county wide as per service demand and will be a peripatetic role with most of the time spent teaching interventions, assessing and delivering advice and training presentations within settings. Lincolnshire County Council pay a generous mileage allowance of 45p per mile for all business mileage undertaken from the designated work base. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a full UK driving licence are essential.
About the Team
The Specialist Speech and Language Teachers and TAs within the ECLIPS Team collaborate with the Speech and Language Therapy Team to offer support, advice and specialist teaching to children and young people with Developmental Language Disorder (DLD) and other severe speech, language and communication needs (SLCN). We support and work closely with families and settings to deliver advice and training. The ECLIPS Team is part of the wider Inclusion Team and works closely with the Special Educational Needs and Disability Service (SEND).
Lincolnshire's ECLIPS team works with children and young people from 4-25 years who have Education, Health, and Care plans or are supported within the graduated approach.
