Summary

We have an opportunity for a six month paid work experience role supporting key corporate functions in Harston, Cambridge. This is a full time, on-site role, Monday to Friday 0900-1730.

This office-based role will report to our Group Legal Counsel and will work closely with other members of our legal and company secretarial team to assist on a range of administrative tasks. This may include:

• Contract administration: cross checking documents, chasing internal stakeholders for missing documents and performing checks on filed documents.
• Data collection & recording: collating data for various trackers and registers to ensure accuracy for future internal and external reporting requirements.
• Document quality control: proofreading corporate documents for internal consistency, spelling grammar and formatting.
• File management: updating and organising the team’s shared drive, updating internal process documents for consistency and to reflect latest updates.
• Research tasks: conducting basic online research on regulatory updates and best practice as directed by the team.

This role would suit someone who is ready to take their first step into a professional environment. No specific experience or qualifications are needed. We understand this may be your first role, and you will receive mentoring and supervision from a dedicated member of our Legal team along with regular weekly support from HR to help you settle in and progress.

You will need to bring personal integrity and respect for confidentiality, as well as being punctual, presentable, and reliable, with a positive attitude. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn and ready to contribute to a busy, collaborative team while gaining real paid work experience to boost your CV.
