We are currently looking for a BI Analyst to join Sovini, part of The Sovini Group.

As a BI Analyst, you will be expected to:

• Work closely with key stakeholders to develop insightful high-quality dashboards, build reliable data models, and improve the way we use information across the organisation.
• Write efficient SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyse data
• Work with semantic models and applying BI architecture best practices
• Managing multiple projects in a fast paced environment, ensuring accuracy and quality
• Support continuous improvements in data standards, governance, and reporting
• Commit to equality and diversity and to promote non-discriminatory practices in all aspects of work undertaken.
• Adhere with the Health and Safety at Work Act to take reasonable care of own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by their acts and omissions.

To be successful in a BI Analyst role, the skills you will need:

• Strong Power BI skills, including DAX, data modelling, and report optimisation
• Solid SQL knowledge with experience working with relational databases
• Practical experience in BI, reporting, or data analysis at an analyst level
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex datasets
• Organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
• Curiosity about emerging BI tools, techniques, and best practices
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Excellent communication skills, able to communicate across multiple channels including Microsoft Teams, Face to Face and Email.

Experience or Knowledge of the below would be advantageous but not essential:

• Degree in a relevant field such as Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or equivalent professional experience.
• Additional certifications in Power BI, SQL, or data analytics.
• Have a full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle for business use.
