Care plays a vital role in supporting people to live safely, comfortably, and with dignity in their own homes. The quality and consistency of that care can have a real impact on someone’s daily life and wellbeing.
With the new year bringing a fresh start, now is the perfect time to begin a rewarding career in care. We’re looking for caring, dependable people to join our growing team in Tavistock and Yelverton, providing high-quality, person-centred support. We have opportunities available across a range of shifts, including evenings and weekends, with additional benefits offered for these hours. Whether you’re experienced or new to care, you’ll receive full training and ongoing guidance to help you succeed.
CareRight’s Commitment to You:
Competitive pay: £13.00 – £14.00 per hour
Enhanced pay rates for evening and weekend work
Weekly pay with paid travel time between visits, plus mileage reimbursement
Access to recognised qualifications, including NVQs, with clear career progression
Comprehensive induction and training programme
Supportive management and a workplace that values your contribution
28 days paid annual leave (pro-rata)
Company phone and car options available (eligibility applies)
Your Role in the Community:
Support with daily living, including personal care, medication assistance, meal preparation, and general wellbeing support
Provide companionship, reassurance, and emotional support
Promote independence, dignity, and confidence
Where We Work:
We currently deliver high-quality care across Teignbridge, Ivybridge, Plymouth, Tavistock and surrounding communities.
Join us at an exciting time of growth and help us continue delivering compassionate, person-centred care where it’s needed most.
What You’ll Need:
The right to work in the UK (we are not currently able to offer sponsorship)
A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is preferred
Interested in Joining Us?
If you have a caring nature and availability for evenings and/or weekends, we’d love to hear from you.
Call Jodie on 01626 912388 for an informal chat or apply online when you’re ready.
