Our SEN Intervention tutors play a key role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including those with Autism, ADHD, SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) needs, and those working below expected levels. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in students lives by providing tailored support to help them overcome learning challenges and succeed.

We understand that every learners journey is unique, which is why we offer flexible hours to fit your schedule, allowing you to provide meaningful support in a safe and engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Deliver one-to-one or small group lessons in core subjects (Maths, English, or Science), tailored to SEN learning profiles.
Adapt lesson content and pace to suit emotional regulation and different learning styles.
Help students develop subject knowledge, improve study skills, and build exam confidence.
Build a trusting and consistent rapport with students to foster a safe, supportive learning environment.
Monitor student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback to parents, carers, or professionals when necessary.

Essential Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of experience teaching or tutoring core subjects (Maths, English, or Science).
Experience working with students with SEN in one-to-one or small group settings.
Right to work in the UK.

Desirable Qualifications:
PGCE in Secondary Education and/or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Experience working with students who have Autism, ADHD, or SEMH needs.
Additional training or experience in SEN strategies or interventions is a plus.

If you are a calm, patient, and dedicated tutor with a passion for supporting students with additional needs, this role provides a fantastic opportunity to make a lasting impact with a flexible, part-time schedule.
