Job Title: GCSE Tutor Maths & English (Liverpool)
Location: Liverpool
Pay Rate: Up to GBP30 per hour
Start Date: ASAP
Job Type: Temporary | Part-Time

Our GCSE Tutors play a vital role in supporting students who need additional help to enhance their understanding of core subjects and prepare for their exams. Working on a one-to-one or small group basis, you will help students build confidence in both Maths and English, strengthening their subject knowledge and exam skills.

We believe every learner has a unique journey, so we encourage a flexible, tailored approach to tutoring that helps each student progress at their own pace in a positive, engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Deliver one-to-one or small group GCSE Maths and English lessons.
Plan and adapt lessons to meet individual learning needs and abilities.
Support students in developing subject knowledge, exam techniques, and study skills.
Build positive relationships with students to encourage engagement and self-confidence.
Monitor student progress and provide clear feedback to parents, carers, or relevant professionals where needed.

Essential Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of experience teaching or tutoring both Maths and English at GCSE level.
Strong ability to engage and support students across different abilities and learning styles.
Excellent communication skills.
Right to work in the UK.
Must have, or be willing to undertake, an Enhanced DBS check.

Desirable Qualifications:
PGCE in Secondary Education and/or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Experience working with students working below expected levels.
Experience in alternative provision, tutoring, or intervention settings.
