SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Frankley, Birmingham, B45
Pay Rate: £105 - £115 per day
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Full-time, long-term temp to perm.

Long Term Futures are recruiting for a patient, calm and resilient SEN Teaching Assistant who can passionately provide 1:1 Support for a Year 3 Student with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Behavioural Needs for a welcoming and caring school based in Frankley, Birmingham, accessible from Birmingham City Centre.
This position is a long-term role with an opportunity to be temp-to-perm. The provision is looking for a proactive, accommodating and positive person who is looking to excel and become a crucial part of their team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Providing 1:1 to support for a student with ASD and Behavioural Needs
- Encouraging focus, confidence and positivity
- Advise and support in creating a calm learning environment
- Building a trustworthy and safe space
- Reinforcing learning by assisting with a range of subjects


Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Experience working with young people in an educational environment
- A background in working with SEN students/young people
- A strong understanding of ASD and Behavioural Needs
- A co-operative and positive attitude
- Confidence managing challenging behaviour in a calm, consistent manner
