We are looking for someone to join us as a Drugs Forensic Scientist in our Joint Scientific Investigation Unit (JSIU).
About the team/Department you will be joining:
A small specialised, dedicated team based in Bridgend South Wales Police HQ, within the JSIU.
Work is Monday to Friday 8-4, with a degree of flexibility required for additional hours.
About the role and your key responsibilities:
Support the analysis of drugs submission for identification, weight and purity of commodities seized from offences within our collaborative force areas.
This role will provide forensic reports based on testing to assist the courts.
What skills and experience do we need you to bring to the role:
We are looking for someone who preferably has a chemistry qualification with forensic Science skills and experience.
We are keen to hear from you if you have transferable working forensic skills and understanding.
