Personal Assistant/Carer Needed for a Bright, Fun-Loving Teenager
Location: Shadoxhurst, Ashford, Kent
Pay: £13.05 per hour
Contract: Zero hours (flexible shifts weekdays & weekends)
We are looking for a reliable, enthusiastic, and kind-hearted female* carer to join our small team supporting a vibrant and intelligent 16-year-old girl with a great sense of humour and a love for fun and independence.
This young person has a complex physical disability (SMA Type 1-2) and uses an electric wheelchair. She needs full support with personal care, daily routines, and accessing the community. She loves music, going out, socialising, and spending time with people who bring positive energy and a respectful attitude.
About the role:
Supporting all aspects of personal care
Assisting with hoisting and mobility
Supporting her daily life, including meals, school, social activities, and time in the community
Being a friendly companion who listens and includes her in decisions
Ideal candidate:
Young at heart, fun, and genuinely interested in young people
Reliable, honest, and proactive
Confident with (or willing to learn) moving and handling
Flexible availability including weekends
Previous care experience is welcome but not essential the right personality is more important, and full training will be given
