Do you have proven experience leading multi‑site Neurological healthcare services and delivering exceptional, people‑centred care? If so, this is an exciting opportunity to join Elysium Healthcare as a Regional Service Director, playing a pivotal role in shaping operational excellence.

Working closely with the Operations Director, you will help shape and execute the operational strategy for Elysium Healthcare, ensuring our Neurological services run smoothly, efficiently and cost‑effectively. You will lead and motivate Hospital Directors and Registered Managers to deliver on their operational and strategic priorities, while maintaining a strong focus on optimising patient experience and ensuring full regulatory compliance across all sites.

A core part of this role involves monitoring the delivery of key performance indicators (KPIs) and supporting operational improvements to ensure excellence in service delivery. You will champion high standards, promote a positive and collaborative culture, and play a key role in enhancing Elysium’s reputation for quality, safety and compassionate care.

* The Regional Service Director will be required to be visible at sites, a minimum of four days per week

As a Regional Service Director, you will:

Management

  • Be responsible for the management and co-ordination of a number of Sites.
  • Line management responsibility for the respective Hospital Directors and Registered Managers, to ensure the delivery of their hospital/team budgets and an increase in profits.
  • Supporting the Operations Director to provide coaching, mentoring and development of Hospital Directors and Registered Managers.
  • Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration.
  • Ensure the business operates and demonstrates the behaviours in line with our KITE values
Regulatory Compliance
  • Support the development of care models, which are evidence based, meet our patients’ requirements and are in line with external regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with CQC, HIW and other regulatory standards, alongside delivering mandated contract targets.
  • Ensuring major incident., business continuity and emergency planning arrangements are adequate and meet regulatory and business requirements.
  • Identify and mitigate areas of risk in relation to care and compliance standards, ensuring action plans are in place and implemented within specified timeframes.
Financial Performance
  • Support the Operations Director to co-ordinate the achievement of financial targets by all Hospitals and Care Homes and have oversight of P&L performances and actions.
  • Support the Operations Director to implement financial strategies, policies, and plans across the services to support the organisation’s overall goals and objectives.
Business Development
  • Support the Operations Director to drive operational excellence, co-ordinating and monitoring the achievement of other corporate and operational targets are met by all Hospitals and Care Homes.
  • Manage the development and delivery of market analysis and business opportunities.
  • Maintain excellent relationships with CCG's, LHBs, NHS England, NHS Wales and other key stakeholders, supporting Elysium Healthcare to identify new business opportunities.
  • Work closely with each site and Senior People Leadership team, to support the Operations Director, to drive recruitment and retentions strategies.
