Our well-established manufacturing client based in Tewkesbury are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join their team on a full-time basis on a temp to permanent basis.
The purpose of the role is to be responsible for the efficient management of stores including, issuing goods in a timely manner and stock management. The Operative will be responsible for updating the IT system correctly and conducting regular stock checks.

Responsibilities:
-Working with operations to ensure that materials are issued in line with service level agreements
-Ensure compliance with all aspects of the store’s procedures including health and safety
-Assist with the purchase ordering process and ensure stock levels are maintained
-Handling incoming deliveries using the forklift truck and ensuring FIFO of all goods
-Ensuring that the IT system is updated to reflect stock levels
-Complete the monthly and year end stock take process and update the system.
-Help in dispatch with moving parcels for collection and spares.
Candidate Attributes:
- Experience of the stores function in a manufacturing business
- Customer focused
-Ability to work on their own and be an effective team player
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- IT literate
Hours: Monday to Friday, day shift - 40 hours per week
Salary: £13.50 per hour + excellent benefits package including free parking
