We are looking for a reliable and compassionate Personal Assistant to join a small support team working with a female client in Kilconquhar. This role involves providing personalised support that helps the individual live a fulfilling and independent life while building positive and respectful relationships with the client and her family.
The Role
Working alongside other team members, the Personal Assistant will help provide tailored support to ensure the individual’s goals, interests and wellbeing remain at the centre of their care.
Responsibilities include:
· Supporting the client to take part in chosen activities and community outings
· Driving to appointments, leisure activities and community events
· Light household duties and general support around the home
· Encouraging independence and supporting informed decision-making
· Promoting dignity, respect and active participation in the community
· Occasional prompting with personal care
· Supporting access to gym and leisure activities the client enjoys
Occasionally, a sleepover may be required when family members are away from home.
About You
Experience in social care is desirable but not essential, as full training and support will be provided. We are looking for someone who shares our values and has a genuine interest in building safe, respectful and supportive relationships.
You must have:
· A full driving licence
· A PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups) check or willingness to obtain one
· A positive, reliable and compassionate approach
