A fantastic opportunity has arisen due to the expansion of the General Surgery Department at Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust. The department is being expanded as part of a £1.8M investment in the clinical workforce across General Surgery and its sub-specialities. The department is offering a maternity cover contract for Speciality Doctor in General Surgery. The successful candidate will support a variety of activities such as: Outpatient clinics Elective Main theatre and CEPOD Lists MDT Virtual Clinics Routine work will include ward rounds As an employee of the Trust, you will work in close co-operation with, and support other clinical, medical professional and managerial colleagues in providing high quality healthcare to the Trusts patients. Integral to these responsibilities is the following: - The provision of a first class clinical service Sustaining and developing teaching Undertaking all work in accordance with the Trusts procedures and operating policies Conducting clinical practice in accordance with contractual requirements and within the parameters of the Trusts service plans
