INFORMATION AND QUALITY OFFICER
– GRADE 7

£39,906 - £46,049 pa

Property & Campus Services (PCS) is entering an exciting period of transformation, including the rollout of a new departmental Quality Management System (QMS) and wider service improvement initiatives. We are seeking an Information & Quality Officer to play a pivotal role in embedding high‑quality information governance and assurance practices across our department.

In this role, you will ensure PCS maintains robust, compliant, and accessible documentation and quality processes aligned with University policy, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. You will champion quality, strengthen information management, and support effective lifecycle management of building and service information.

You’ll work closely with colleagues across PCS and the wider University, providing expertise, guidance, and training while supporting a culture of continuous improvement. The role sits within the Service Improvement and Quality Team and reports to the Service Improvement and Quality Manager.

In this role, you’ll:
• Drive the rollout and maintenance of our QMS
• Strengthen information governance, document control and compliance
• Lead audits, reviews and continuous improvement activity
• Improve processes, templates and data reporting
• Support teams with training, onboarding and best practice

About you: You’ll bring experience in quality management, information governance and working in complex organisations (ISO 9001 exposure a bonus). Strong analytical skills, great communication and a proactive, improvement‑minded approach are essential.
