Job Title: Secondary Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant
Location: Hertford
Pay: £100–£120 per day
Start: ASAP
Contract: Ongoing, Monday–Friday
We are currently seeking an experienced Secondary Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant to join a school in Hertford on a full-time, ongoing basis. This role is ideal for someone who is confident working in secondary classrooms and has strong behaviour management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting teachers in delivering lessons across the secondary curriculum
Providing learning support to students in the classroom
Managing and supporting student behaviour to maintain a positive learning environment
Working with small groups or on a one-to-one basis where required
Helping students stay engaged and focused during lessons
Requirements:
Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant in a secondary school
Strong behaviour management skills and confidence working with students
A clean Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
Reliable, proactive, and able to build positive relationships with students and staff
