We are seeking people to join us who are really invested in Early Years education and who wish to positively provide amazing quality of care and early education for our children.
We are looking for someone with enthusiasm and knowledge to join our lovely team, to ensure standards are more than adequately met and to make sure that our children continue to receive the best possible care and education - Commitment to your application and ambition to give the job a chance to show you how much fun it really can be.
This Job involves playing with children, sharing activities and bringing your own play skills to the children too - Helping the children at meal times, and then helping to clear up afterwards - Helping to look after provisions, by cleaning and wiping toys and activities before storing them - Being happy to play outdoors throughout the day- Smiling and giggling at jokes, even when you've heard them 100 times - Singing proudly and loudly, even if you don't think you can - Most importantly having the ability make a variety of shapes and objects using playdough - It's an amazing and fulfilling place to be, when you understand the importance of what you are doing. Every interaction counts, and will help each little person to grow and develop.
You should have a good standard of both written and spoken English.
You should be friendly and approachable and be able to professionally share information with parents about their child and how their day has been. There is also an element of domestic work involved, helping to keep the nursery clean and tidy and you should be motivated to undertake such tasks, knowing that they are important.
If early childhood means the world to you, then please apply soon - IDEALLY APPLICANTS SHOULD HOLD A FULL AND RELEVANT LEVEL III EARLY CHILDHOOD QUALIFICATION TO APPLY FOR THIS ROLE - However, if you currently hold a Level II qualification and are truly committed to Early Years, we may consider your application.
You will be joining a family friendly and flexible employer, who truly appreciates each member of it's team and wants all to be happy and fulfilled by their role here.
Start date would ideally be ASAP, due to increasing numbers, however, we would be more than happy to wait for the best fit, as we appreciate that the sort of "amazing" we are looking for, may need to give notice.
We have a number of hours / positions vacant - working with children from 8 months to 2.5 years, in one of our 3 classrooms that make our 'Infant Community' where the foundations of all skills begin and language bursts forth.
