Meet *Thomas
*Thomas is a wonderful young man who loves nature and getting outside. He has complex care needs and experiences epilepsy, so we’re looking for someone who is calm, patient, and ready to learn.
About the Role:
As part of *Thomas’ support team, you’ll work alongside a Nurse during the day, ensuring *Thomas is enjoying life to the fullest while ensuring his safety and wellbeing is prioritised.
Key Responsibilities:
• Daily Living Support: Providing essential support with epilepsy management and complex care needs (full training provided).
• Personalised Support: Supporting *Thomas with his daily routine and personal care.
• Health & Well-being Monitoring: Look out for *Thomas’s safety, well-being, and overall happiness, always keeping communication open with his family and care team.
• The Great Outdoors: Encouraging and assisting *Thomas in getting out into nature—for fresh air and walks.
• Be a Friendly Confidant: Build a genuine connection with *Thomas, providing companionship, encouragement, and positivity every day.
About You:
• Caring, Patient, & Reliable: You truly want to help.
• Willing to Learn: Epilepsy experience is great, but full training will be provided.
• Values Teamwork: You thrive in a collaborative environment, knowing the importance of working together for the best outcomes for the people you support.
• Experience (Preferred but Not Required): Whether you’ve worked in care or not, a great attitude and willingness to learn are what matter most.
• Driver’s License (Preferred).
