We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Design & Technology Teacher to join a well-established secondary school in the Bromley area. This is a full-time, permanent position starting in September 2026, or earlier for the right candidate.

This is an exciting opportunity to teach Design & Technology at KS3 and GCSE, as well as Product Design at A-Level, within a supportive and forward-thinking department.

The department is exceptionally well resourced, featuring eight 3D printers, three laser cutters, CNC embroidery machines and routers, alongside traditional equipment such as centre lathes and metal and woodworking machinery, a range of sewing machines, and a sublimation printer.

Students also have access to an extensive range of industry-standard software, including the latest versions of SolidWorks, Techsoft Design, and Adobe Creative Suite.

Key Responsibilities
• Deliver engaging and effective DT lessons at KS3 and GCSE, and Product Design at A-Level.
• Plan, prepare, and assess high-quality lessons tailored to students of all abilities.
• Monitor pupil progress and provide targeted support to help students reach their full potential.
• Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental development.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and parents to promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Essential Requirements
• Recent experience teaching Design & Technology.
• A recognised teaching qualification with QTS.
• Proven experience teaching KS3, GCSE, and A-Level.
• A current Enhanced DBS certificate, or willingness to obtain one.
• Ability to start September 2026 (or sooner if available).
